Hello September

Wow! Time sure flies when you're super busy and having fun! My days are filled with working for Richard Garay, school, soccer and all the mom/wife stuff! Oh yeah and traveling to all the Be Amazing Tour stops for RG! And as of recently visiting my mom in Maryland. I went a few days early to the east coast to surprise her and it worked! I loved catching up with her in person and being able to hug her again & again! I call my mom every other morning on my drive to work to talk about our days. Seeing the look on her face when she realized it WAS really me standing in front of her, that was the best! I only wish my girls and Carlos could of been with me. (And yes, I will be returning my regularly scheduled blog posts! I miss it!)

Two teens in high school and our youngest in jr. high, yes ours days are super busy! I get home and either we need to go to this store for this & that, laundry, homework and my body is ready to say hello? I need to see the bed like now. The list goes on but I do love my job! Traveling is super fun and meeting all the coaches! Getting to know my co-workers that much better too with each trip is too funny. They crack me up and know me so well, and apparently the convention center staff do too that quick! Yes my co-workers spread the news about my eating habits! haha! (I eat many times throughout the day bc my metabolism is super FAST!) This is the latest shot of the Journey Crew in Virginia Beach from the observation deck (4th floor) overlooking the town and you can see the ocean from there!

Creative Tea Time

Are you going to CTT this weekend? I so-- wish I was. Couldn't make it this time, so this was the second best thing! I'm one of the Sponsors! I made up these oh-so-cute mini craft kits! I hope the attendees all like them! What do you think??

 I should of taken a photo of all the items after I was done adding & adding some more! Hopefully, someone will take one from the event! I love how the bags turned out! (I'm thinking of adding these pretties to the shop real soon!) A big thank you to my girls for helping me stuff 'em! This makes me HAPPY

I cannot believe September is half over already! Here are some photos to sum up the latest, I'll exclude the 4th grade invention project, trips to the allergy dr, school picture day morning, the bathroom counter after 3 girls get ready for school... instead, I'll show you all the pretty/crafty ones! (I'll be sharing those others in my Project Life pages!)

1. Solo time outside to read, eat, pray while girls are at school.

2. New tags in shop this week! These pretties went to Creative Tea Time in Cali.

Artists' Showcase

How wonderful to receive an email to let me know my shop has been featured?! (I found this out while taking a quick sec to check my email from my hospital bed) A nice pick me up, if you will. *insert big smile* A huge thank you to Tracy of One Brown Crafter for the feature! It's very much appreciated. She didn't only share one photo from my shop, but 7 and all of my links! I say she is pretty sah-weet!

This truly was a RAK (random act of kindness). See? There are still genuine, kind-hearted people out there.

Here's the latest addition to shop! You can hang this banner in your daughter's bedroom, playroom, at her next birthday party, your craft room... the places are endless! I also love this pleated ruffle =)

The girls go back to school on the 11th, so I have this wk to take down Xmas decs (yes, we still have zero time!), a movie to see, bike rides to take, more sewing, baking & crafting w/girls to do! A few special people to visit also.

Yo-Yo Embellished

Just listed these lastnite. I like how they came out! Super cute IRL! I gave some of these pretties for Xmas gifts! Anyone you know that could use one? They're different from ALL the rest you see on Etsy too! And I haven't seen ANY out there like these! Just that tiny detail of the yo-yo w/the button makes a statement! EXCLUSIVE I tell ya! (I'm just wondering HOW long it'll take before I see my idea being sold from other shops! Just saying.) Well, it's not like it's patented or nothing. But it would be nice to give credit where it's due. HA! AM I making a big deal? Well, I've just seen it done before w/a simple little ruffle that was set apart from the rest. And then BAM! Someone took that idea & ran w/it. Totally claiming it as their own. Not nice. Anyway, check 'em out & I will be adding more very soon!

Quick Update

We got a call back from pedia GI dr this afternoon. Lele can eat REAL food again! =) Daddy promised her for this wkend, she could pick any place she wanted to eat & we'll go. Hmm... then she remembered her trips to Elephant Bar w/her God-mom! Thx Jeannie. I guess we'll be heading over that way real soon! haha

Today was a hectic day, as usual. Girls had half a day. Lele stayed home. 13 days missed. Ugh! (Just bcuz of this whole potty/BM issue. But she is a happy camper & excited to eat again.) I had take teacher gifts over to school w/calls from Graciella saying "ma, are you here yet? she's opening her gifts now." Yes. Okay. I get it. I got to school & all the gifts were delivered. The teachers loved 'em! Yes. They liked the packaging too. Yes. I decorated each one myself. Can I buy some time Alex? haha! Not a vowel, but T.I.M.E. (okay, so two vowels.) Thx so much. Overnite it please too.

It's so late, I will post my pix manana in the pm. Girls have games. We had Antonia's soccer party tonite. It got real chilly out too! Sitting by the fire pit/table was ni----ce. My bff Jeannie took me for a ride in her new Murano. Nice pick chica! Congrats on that one! Roomy too!

Will add a few items to shop I'm hoping for pix manana pm also! I made four for gifts & I like how they turned out. I haven't seen ANY. NOT ONE out there like this one! You'll see it HERE first. Now you'll know it someone else bites my idea & claims it's theirs. Nope. =) It's simple w/a small detail. It went over big w/the teachers! Yay! Stay posted folks & visit back soon...

CalleLillyCafe Launches!

I am SO excited! (I signed up in August just to hold the name!) I have been super busy w/girls' school, soccer & everything else that I MUST stay up into the wee hours to do what I love! I have so many ideas, patterns & a must-sew-list a mile --------- long! I'm supposed to be volunteering at the moment in Antonia's class but needed to get my shop UP & running! I never knew all the info needed to do SEW! =)

The link to my shop is on the side bar & if you click on CalleLillyCafe at the bottom, Check it out & please leave me a comment on the look, photos & such. Please?! Thx so much! Lotsa work goes into each apron. I wish I had a magic wand to wave it once & sew all the hems perfect every time! It takes many trips, back and forth to the ironing board then back to sewing machine. Measure. Press. Sew. But that's me! I want it crisp & looking nice! Not using some fusible web deal & be done w/it! You pay for what you get! So true.
