Here comes trouble!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas---! (did you sing that line?!)  Yes! We broke out the Christmas boxes from storage the day AFTER Turkey Day! I hope you all enjoyed your day! We had all the food and a quiet / sort of day. It was just us this year and not that quiet! ha! My girls & I were hysterical laughing which is always good. The 81st Macy's Parade had to be DVR'd to watch later because cooking, girls sleeping in, etc. I love that parade & being from Jersey, it means that much more! Oh yeah and that whole Black Friday deal? Not. It gets so crazy, have you seen the news? Yikes! So happy I missed it.

We're adding ornaments today! Yes Renegade Run & soccer photos come first!

Yes they are BACK! Frosty & Brooklyn. Our Elves on the Shelf. They start causing trouble the day after Thanksgiving. Wish us luck!

A tiny note had said: bake cookies!

These two are super cute! Do you have elves that visit during the holidays?
Have a good day!

Christmas Decor

How many of you have finished decorating? I would love to shop at Pottery Barn, Pier 1, among other stores... just to finish up w/the decor. We have lots of stuff we've collected over the years & things from when I was younger, but one can never have too much! We just have the outside to do plus the tree, the inside is complete. Unless, of course, I see a little something I must have. ;]

Happy decorating!

Gramma's Wish List

We drove straight to see Gramma at her Xmas party after Graciella's dance. (daddy was at the San Tan Holiday Classic w/the girls) It was happening too at the Senior Center! =) Live music, dancing & friends... and Santa!

Graciella & Gramma hit the dance floor! My mom LOVES to dance! A little fyi. That's where I get it from! =)

Gramma & her good friend, Lucy.

I love this one. Gramma kept introducing Graciella 'this is my beautiful grand-daughter!'

Yes, Gramma is a poser!

Me & Santa (I hope he got my wish list!)

Gramma is also a joke-ster! My guess? She was asking for a rich husband for her 39 y/o self!

And this was a quick trip too! I thought anyway. We had fun. Super happy we made it. Gramma is the last grandparent we have. =( I hope she's still here to see Graciella graduate from HS... that's another 5 years! I think she will.

We love you much ma!

Gingerbread Houses & PJs

I was excited about volunteering in Antonia's class this am! They had it all planned out, steps & all on how the houses were going to be made...

Step 1:

Step 1 really started w/me at home getting her base prepared. I did like this way better though! Easy & quick! I just had to buy the OJ the day before cut, wash, dry & hot glue!

Step 2:
Placement is key...

Step 3:

Pick the perfect accents for your house... and some extra to snack on!

Step 4:
Sit back & enjoy your creation! And try not to eat until you get home!

Antonia & her awesome teacher, as Antonia calls her! Most recently, bcuz of Xmas pj days & moving her project date to Monday! =)

Zoo Lights

Nov. 22, 2009
(yeah, it's a little out of order!)

A BIG thanks to Carrie & her BofA ticket deal! Whoohoo! No animals but a few, like the lonely zebra & some birds, were to be seen that nite. Pretty lights all over & Xmas music to boot, lotsa of lil ones & families snapping pix all over. In the end, the girls had fun. They love spending time w/their cousin Carrie & her little familia. =) I love you Becky!

Scrap Pix to Share

This is Antonia & her knot hair-do! This layout is from an old page kit I had forever! (Michelle does it look familiar? :) I just added my own flowers & owl stamp!

This is Antonia Bella. Another old page kit w/lace CS & embellishments added, title, ribbons & background papers are from kit. Glue on butterfly was still wet when I took pic! Oops! :(

This of our 4 yr old - Leleanna. This is her to a tee! She's NOT afraid of the big kids either! She can hold her own!

I made this for Melina's bf. I used a Noteblock stamp on this. I LOVE these stamps! You can find them here.

Xmas card I made for my big sis, Rose. It's in your box of Xmas gifts that I sent out... LAST WEEK! I beat you this year! ;) I used a Noteblock stamp on this one too!

Happy Holidays

Hope everyone had a great Xmas! Ours was... eventful (to say the least!) Things happen for a reason. And as I always said, "actions speak louder than words". So true!
I had made this for a class for Devine Memories. (But Xmas is here!) Perhaps, next year!

So much & pix to catch up with. Once again!

Devine Memories had the Design Team Xmas party - white elephant gift exchange. That was fun & the food was YUMMY! All the ladies were too nice though! I did end up w/Rebecca's box of goodies! Yea--- me!

Graciella had her Legacy party too. The girls had fun & all the families brought lots of yummy food! Pix are here.

The week before Xmas, the girls decorated a ginger bread house. They had fun w/out the fighting! Lele only asked me to eat the candy, instead of putting it on the house - 100 times!

Xmas Eve - we spent at the Jesson's, our extended familia & Gramma came with too! The girls had a blast opening gifts. Thx so much Jeannie & the rest of the clan for making it so-- much fun for our girls! We got home that nite to find gifts for the girls under the tree. Carrie & Rob came over too. Santa left the girls & Carrie new pjs for Xmas! Surprise! Surprise! ;) Gramma spent the nite too. The girls left oreos & milk for Santa, oats & carrots for the reindeer. He also left a note for the girls! Graciella said in the am, that she thought daddy could of wrote it. Hmm... I think she's beginning to figure things out. She hasn't said anything about the writing on the gift tags & the fact that Santa has the same wrapping paper as us... YET!

Xmas morning was CRAZY! But in the end... Carly, Kayvion, Gramma, Carrie & Rob spent the day. All was good. I'm just happy we were all together to celebrate. One person, however, was missing. Melina.

(I never got to make the garland for the tree!)

Santa left some huge boxes for the girls under... Next to the tree! After they were opened & daddy put everything together, this is what was left:
WHY the Home Alone face on Lele?!

Timbales

Congas (too bright pic though. They're a really pretty burgundy wine color! See pic above!)
I LOVE THESE PIX OF ANTONIA! She was loving her boots w/all the fur inside! She was posing away & freezing at the same time! It was a chilly day!

I had made some bday cards & one was for Melina's bf - Zach. I'm Lovin' this stamp!

Carlos was caught up playing w/Sebastian (he's SUCH a mama's boy!). You would never guess that he's 15 yrs old!

We took the girls to see Bedtime Stories w/Adam Sandler. Such a cute movie! I want it on DVD!

Here's a card I made to send w/the box of gifts going to Bethesda, MD! Whoo-hoo! Rose, I beat you this year! :p (Again, I LOVE these Noteblock stamps!)

Have a safe New Years Eve!
