Summer Toes Layout

Yes summer is in the past and it feels like Fall has finally arrived to the desert! Just a tiny bit anyway. We're happy! Just wanted to share a layout of my girls' cute toes & my attempt at a watercolor background. Do you have any tips on keeping the base warp-free? I have tried everything and boom! Warp city. It's slight but it drives me nuts! I have dried gentle w/heat gun. Stacked heavy objects & left for days on top. I didn't overkill on the water either. Not sure with this one. Can I blame it on the desert & that we still have the a/c on? ... I thought that might sound good. Nope. =P

Thankful

Just wanted to pop in and say happy summer to you all. I've been under the weather for a few weeks and am so thankful for friends and my husband. I have not been able to take my girls to the pool or do anything fun. Here in AZ, the temps are in the triple digits and it's not any fun being stuck inside when it's sunny every. single. day. non-stop.  Personally, I can do it & craft the day away! lol The girls have been lucky though and have gone on outings with friends and my husband has taken them to the pool. Today my teen will be on a boat all day: skiing, tubing & knee boarding! *just a wee bit jealous!

I'm feeling a tiny bit better, I've had a number of dr visits and hope they can find what's causing my pain real soon, praying non-stop and friends/family who are sending their prayers also... I'm hoping to scrapbook a few photos after my appt this morning! (that'll make this mama happy!)

Happy Summer

Summer has officially began! Last week for our high school girl & this week for our younger two. Soccer is still on the calendar, even with this Arizona heat but not for long. The girls will get a few weeks off. Yay! Our 11 y/o is even going on a vacay w/her bff! I'm so excited for her too. Lake Powell. House boat. No service for days. Yep, just a bit jealous. So happy for her though! Cannot wait to see her photos & hear all the stories when she gets back! For now, it's sleeping in, sweet treats, swimming & sleepovers! 

 I love this photo of our youngest. It looks like she's dancing & her shadow is the cutest!
