Project Life 2013 Week 32

Hello Project Life! Oh I've missed these layouts! How do you keep track of all your day to day happenings? I still use the Momento App. Love still. I even have a reminder to alert me every night at 8pm to write stuff down. The best part about this app is that it collects all your photos from FB, Instagram or Twitter and adds to each day. Love this!

The doily I created w/my Spellbinders die! Love all the different sizes too. I used a bunch of printable cards for this layout. I cut my ampersand tag to fit & covered my cut line w/some thin washi! I used Amy Tangerine's embroidery kit on that tag as well. Love those kits! Studio Calico: tiny heart,  Love This wood piece, day stamp, 6x6 paper pad. Simple Stories: typeset stickers & labels. Silhouette for the 88. Dear Lizzy letter stickers. Inspired stamp is by Autumn Leaves. Lots of stitching here & there on my Bernina!

If there's added text/designs on my photos? Most likely made with the Rhonna Designs app. Love it! More stitches to add a little detail. Butterfly: Martha Stewart punch. Half white doily: Spellbinders die. More washi. Love to use tiny tags for journaling! More Simple Stories labels/stickers on this page as well. Heidi Swapp: black sticker letters.

Oh yeah! Just in case you're thinking: is she really on week 32? Um yeah, I skip around. No reason, just what I feel like working on, time allows, photos printed or not... This year I want to PL in chronological order!

Any questions? Ask away! What are your thoughts on my spread? Would love to know!
Happy day to you all.

Project Life Week 35

This week has lots of photos so that means lots of flap/tabs. Just five to be exact & two tags w/hidden journaling. I used small journaling spots to attach additional photos and tag, stitches on machine & washi tape. For my tabs I used Spellbinders hexagon dies and used a journaling sticker folded in half. I love sewing on layouts & PL ones are perfect to attach something really quick and at the same time, adds texture without the bulk!

Now for the right side! Only a few more photos showing details. :)

How do you fit in your extra photos & journaling? What's your favorite way to attach it all?   Any new ideas are always fun to try!
Happy day!

Project Life Week 34

Yes! I'm back at it! I keep adding to my collection of PL goodies and some are too pretty to use! However... I'm throwing that little thought out of the window! If not NOW when?!! So if you have little pretties you would love to share and send my way via snail mail? I will be happy to accept and showcase in a Project Life spread on my blog (& this means it'll be ALL over too! Meaning I share on Instagram, Flickr, Tumblr, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Scrapbook.com, 2peas & Studio Calico!) Just sayin'.  And if you ever did, I would do the same right back! That's what it's all about isn't it? Sharing is caring. *wink*wink

My baby girl turned nine & this was huge! She growing up and I cannot stop her. {sniff. sniff.} Hope you all have a great day and remember all those who had their heart broken twelve years ago today. Nine Eleven.

Enjoy your day.

Project Life 2013 | Week 19

Did I tell you I am seriously LOVING my photo printer?! Yes it's a gem & super convenient! I love going through my photos & when my my girls ask to have a photo to either scrap or Smash? BOOM! Print & hand over. Easy as pie. Yes I'm a fan. =)

I do love Project Life & all the different collections. Truth be told? I do not own any of them. I've tried many times to win, haven't yet. That's okay. I have the very first Project 365 from Becky Higgins. Yes that long ago. I have tons of printables, cut files (love!) and one day, when the bank acct is that fat?! I will subscribe to the many Studio Calico monthly kits and the many more that have been on my wish list for a while now. See PL lifers, you do not need to break the bank or have the latest/greatest of all products. If you have a printer, Cricut, Big Shot or Silhouette? You've got it made! I love all my little machines and gadgets to make my pages mine from scratch, made up of all different manufacturers. I love just grabbing what I feel goes and any of my collection of embellishments. Oh yeah! And add some stitching to finish any pocket off? Love.

Yes, I'm a bit behind but that's okay too. I will catch up someday and when that day does come around... you better believe I will be doing the happy dance!

Until then, happy summer & happy scrapping!

Project Life 2013 | Week 1

Happy New Year! ... okay I know I'm a little behind on posting my Project Life pages. Just please be patient. (I have to keep telling myself, Breathe. btw this is my OLW. Do you have one?) Okay back to PL stuff. Love this year long, daily, weekly project. Love that any spread you may come upon, although using same protectors, is as different as the next. So many out there, it's crazy. I tell you, that Becky Higgins is one smart cookie!

I used Glitz Design | Color Me Happy on this & added some stitching, courtesy of my Bernina! Also, Hero Arts stamps for potty people, washi, my Silhouette, chipboard, free printable cards & felt.

For this spread I used My Mind's Eye: Rhonna Farrer Follow Your Heart/Be Happy, my Silhouette, Bernina, Crate Paper chipboard, washi tape, Studio Calico printables & stamps, Thickers, Freckled Fawn wood pcs. & best part??...

My 14 y/o journaled on Today card about her & her bff. Love this. I will be using my girls' journaling all throughout this year. Quite the difference in colors between my pages. I made the decision to use different paper for each week. This will sum it up though. Love bright happy colors & shabby / soft as well as pastels.

Enjoy your day!
