Update via Instagram

Yes, Instagram can sum up the latest happenings in my life. Is that sad or the norm w/all of us nowadays? I think the latter for most of us. Yes, this is what our world has come to and yes, I love it! Anyway, my last post was on the 1st and since I've been spending most of my days w/my mom in her room of the rehab center. She had fallen 3 times while she was there until I landed myself in the ICU for a week. I even got a phone call from my mom while she was in the same hospital as I, but downstairs in the ER. My niece had been w/her & paid me a quick visit while my mom went for an Xray.

The weekend before my stay, my cousins came into town from Jersey. I saw them for a quick visit before I ended up in the ER w/my stomach having this super full feeling & pain in the center. I spent the week in ICU w/pancreatitis and triglycerides that were 4500! They used a machine to 'clean' my blood & I left w/triglyc. that were approx 300. This was a good thing. Needless to say, my body was severely stressed.

As if all this wasn't enough, my mom had moved to a better rehab facility. My husband has much to do w/all of this too. He was busy w/taking care of our girls & getting them to school, visiting my mom each day & taking care of many things for her & visiting me all the while. Yes, he's a trooper, my Hero, one we can count on again and again. He's proved this once before when I was real sick last year. *yes I love my hubby!

Between this & all that, the girls still had soccer, tournaments and Cottages for school. My husband even took video of our 2nd grader's performance. I missed her very first time of dancing w/a boy! =(

I can end this on a good note though, our oldest came from COS to visit this weekend. The girls were so happy to spend time w/her. Me too! Min, it felt good to be here for you to talk once again lil one! I love you much! xo

There are so many things I want to accomplish and on my to-do list. The only difference is I know now that I truly have to take it easy & slow my days down and take care of me. This will be a challenge but if I want to around in the years to come, this must happen.

Henderson came to town

Lele's Tricks

Girls & I went to the pool this afternoon. Carly & Kayvion met us there. So happy they did!! Lele was going nuts w/her flips! She was doing them in both directions! Her backs flips: she would jump up, pull her knees to her chest, throw herself backwards & do her little perfect back flip EVERY time. She was making me dizzy! Before she would do twists & flips... today she nailed them! (she's preparing for the 2020 Olympics!)

This past Saturday, the San Tan Legacy soccer club had a pool party. Graciella & Antonia had a blast on both diving boards! I couldn't believe as tiny as Antonia is, she was able to swim across the pool after jumping in the pool over & over & over & over.... you get the picture. The same goes for all these girls for almost 3 hrs. Miss Mindy would be proud!

I got a text Sunday from my niece CARLY!! Okay, so I'm a bit happy & it was GREAT to see her, Shrek & Kayvion! She had his first bday party (that same day!) at her new house! CONGRATS on the house! She lives super close too. The girls, Gramma & I went to the baby's party. All of us missed her a bunch this past yr! The baby is a mini-me of Carly! But he looks just like his daddy too!

Right when we left the party, I felt absolutely horrible! I kept telling Graciella that if I pass out, don't panic & call 911. Mommy's NOT playing around. We dropped Gramma off & went to Safeway real quick to p/u a few things. Carlos even told me to come home, but I told him I'm right here, so I'll go in. Got home, & literally fell out as soon as I hit the bed! The girls took showers & that's all I remember. The heat got to me at the party. Super bad. I never felt that way. It was scary! All the people & it was so hot inside & out?! The next morning was okay, but later in the pm, my head was hurting still. Never again! It was too much & for me to be w/the girls & not Carlos too?! Nope, can't do it. I know Graciella was afraid. She gets that way, when I feel real sick or anything like that.

Anyway, it was so good to see the baby again, Eric (aka Shrek) & Carly. We love you! (& I know your mom was happy too! ;] ) xoxo

Okay, today was really TOO HOT! You get in the car, turn the a/c on, sweat from waiting, then BAM it's cooling you off! Yea! ... then you reach your destination & BAM, you have to walk from your parking space to the a/c. YUK!!! But you know what, we can complain all we want, but we ARE still here, with our homes & loved ones, safe & out of harms way. The crazy weather, that is. It's crazy, I wonder why this happens? But I thank God that we live here in this heat & not where all these storms, tornadoes, flooding, earthquakes are happening. We are lucky.

We took our girls, along w/Amy & Katie to Amazing Jake's yesterday. We met the Kruse family there. The girls had lots of fun!

Things happen for a reason & people choose different paths. You can only hope that one of those paths may bring them back. Life goes on though. It has too. So many people come into our lives for different reasons. I see this proven time & time again. Friends, co-workers, neighbors, store clerks... the list goes on. I have been blessed to have special people in our lives that are true, honest, caring, loving, have respect for themselves & others they love, their word stands for something... I could go on. Those people who know us, know who they are. Know that you are truly appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
