107 Days Away

Really?! That is until Christmas arrives! Are you ready or even half way there? Not I said the fly. Where is that Father Time anyway? I need him to grant me some more pronto! Busy is the key word these days. Here are a few shots from the past two weeks!

To sum up photos: My youngest will always pose for me! Yes we needed new sheets! Great deal too! Peach Twist?! Yum. You need to try! My poor girl & her severe allergies! Bad reactions to outside elements & she plays club soccer! And she hates to have her blood work done! My tween told me she wants nothing else but the hanging Pier 1 chair! It has cup holders & pockets, I could do my homework here! I had to laugh. =)

Have a great week!

Happy Wednesday

What in the world? I just clicked on my blog in my bar and BOOM! Gone just like that! Has any one had this same problem? I don't get how that happens. Once second your blog that you've had for years just decides to no longer exist the next? I had to get a text from Google w/a code, enter the code & voila! my blog reappeared. This Blogger deal has me afraid. Very afraid. I'm trusting my memories, photos & years of blogging to them, to just simply disappear in a nano second. I think I have to take the WP plunge in the next few days. It will definitely be a HUGE learning curve. Please keep your fingers crossed.

Did you vote?! We did. Mailed the ballots in. Almost ran out of time too because we've been sick! That's another story for a different day. However, we are feeling a bit better. Just waiting on results from a second blood test & chest X-ray...

Do you have family/friends back east? I'm from Jersey and cannot look at all the photos and footage w/out crying. All that I grew up with and have known? Gone. The beaches and boardwalks will never be the same. There are too many childhood memories to when I would go as a teenager w/friends. My very first job was on the Pt. Pleasant Boardwalk working a game. I would also go there by bike or car and go any time of the year. The season and weather did not matter. I loved going solo for a bike ride and just sitting on the jetty or beach and write in my journal or lay on a blanket and just fall asleep listening to the ocean. I love the smell of the ocean! Jersey ones at least! Living in the desert and seeing the Cali beaches.... nope. I can definitely do without the seaweed! yuk! I can deal w/a few jellyfish here & there but swimming w/a clump of seaweed on your leg? Eww. I'm sure there are beautiful beaches in Cali but until I see 'em? My heart still belongs to Jersey. I've been in contact w/friends and family back home and my heart aches for them. And NY? I have family there as well and going to clubs and just walking around the city? I never could imagine this happening. Never. I could go on & on about my love for back home. I just want them to know my heart goes out to them and the prayers haven't stopped. Keep strong Jersey & New York!

(This is what's left of Seaside Boardwalk. The entire end of it is in the Atlantic now. This same thing happened in Pt. Pleasant as well... along w/the entire east coast. UN-believable.)

Keep the entire east coast in your prayers!

Old Fashioned

Moth Balls. I heard this years ago, that if you take some of these white, smelly, pristine beauties & throw some in a pigeon nest... that'll make 'em disappear. Either it'll send 'em packing tonite or they might decide to wait out the storm. Ha! Either way, I won't be feeding those suckers in the am! I'm hoping this works bcuz they wake Graciella in the wee hours almost every nite. Not fun, I tell you. I shall update you in a few days whether or not it worked. (it has in the past!)

Until the birdies come packin, have a good nite.

LAST day...

of school, that is! The girls' are excited. Soccer camp & recital are next week. Along w/an 11 yr anniversary (that will totally get lost in the hectic wk) I totally forgot to mention that Jeannie & I have a date in October to see:

(Courtesy of her husband, Bill.) I'm excited! Thx Bill!

So the rain has gone away. Half of the wkend was saved! The 'scrappin lil girls club' came over & we worked on some stuff. Amy & Katie slept over. Antonia learned how to ride Graciella's bike, while G & I raced around the neighborhood! Lele was riding her tricycle. I took all the girls to the movies & made a run to Whole Foods. The girls liked all the yummy samples! Took our girls to the BMX track (again!). Made yummy Belgium waffles w/strawberries & whipped cream for brkfst. Girls & I made oatmeal/raisin cookies. The girls played out in the sprinklers, while mommy got some sun! Jeannie had invited us over for Monday pm dinner w/family. Fun & eats!

I think that pretty much sums it all up!

Lastnite, was the girls yrbook signing at Peter Piper. They had more fun eating w/Shalya, running around & playing the games! Then it was off to the track again. It'll be something to see when Antonia gets going & can actually race! But she's interested! Oh yeah! Rose called & they got the box yesterday! I just need to make MR some more inserts for her card holder!

Here's our puppies! Harley is 2 now & Hugo is 5 mos.

Min - this is for YOU! I forgot to post these pix! YUMMY - YUMMY! When you come home, I'll have to show you how 'super-fast' this makes the frapps! The 10 yr old + blender finally saw it's last day... but don't cry bcuz the new & improved one is ni----ce & shiny! ha!

Oooo-- Ahh---!
