Project Life 2014 Cover Page

Time flies and then you post! {Yes I'm quoting myself off my Insta post!} lol I seriously cannot believe that it's April in a few days! So many photos to post, stories to share and maybe I'll skip all the pain I've been in lately. Not fun. It's all about our girls & soccer! So this makes me happy! Onto my cover page. (and yes it's been complete, photos taken... just not posted.) I need an editorial calendar just for my blog, my day to day happenings, dr appts... haha! I use my iCal and that keeps us in check but every day is a busy one. The year is still new & I need to schedule my posts & photos, as well as printing out my photos on my PictureMate! Sorry I got off track.

For my birthday this year, I bought myself a PL subscription to CitrusTwistKits! I love how they include a 6x6 paper pad every month! I used my Jan kit as well as some other supplies from my stash.
The paper pad is by Studio Calico: Print Shop - wood veneer house: Recollections - label: October Afternoon - Heidi Swapp colored pencil over a Studio Calico kraft heart.

The parentheses are by Teresa Collins: Happy enamel shapes - Teal letter stickers I bought from Target Dollar Spot! Love them & the pkg also had a pretty coral/peach color as well! Gold doily from CTK & I added some stitching - OLW tiny stickers are by Authentique.

Those two are our Shelties: Hugo (L) & Harley (R), aka mama's boys!
Enamel dots by MME - Washi from CTK - Label: own stash - #together stamp by Amy Tangerine: Sealed.

Gold PL card: Simple Stories - flair: Recollections - journaling strips: I cut up CTK PL card.

My girls from a impromptu photo shoot. Love the end result!
Bike label: Chictags - floral die: Spellbinders - cork numbers: LYB

So what do you think? I always want to keep pages real simple but I need to accept that is not me. I love all the tiny details & adding the layers, stitches & embellishments. This page was as simple as it's going to get.
Perhaps one day.

I so get that, not really too sure how to do simple, and most of the time not too interested in it either. I love to play with all the bits and pieces :) Your page looks fab Julie, looking forward to seeing more. Wanted to pop by and say thank you so much for visiting my post on the Chic Tags blog today. Means a lot that you took the time xo
